Privacy Policy

Overview

Novus Striker is a browser game published by Novus Stream Solutions, a sole proprietorship trading as Novus Stream Solutions in London, Ontario, Canada. As a Canadian operator we handle personal information in line with PIPEDA and applicable Ontario law. We keep data collection to a minimum. You can play without creating an account, and we do not sell your personal information.

Information we collect

• Feedback you send. If you email us, we receive the address and message you choose to send, and use it only to respond and improve the game. The feedback page can fill in your browser, your graphics adapter, the release you were served and the pre-flight check results, but only if you tick the box for it: it is off by default, nothing is read from your browser until you tick it, and the text is written into your own mail client where you can read or delete any of it before sending.
• Local game data. The game stores its build files and settings in your browser (cache and local storage) so it loads faster. This stays on your device, and you can clear it at any time.
• Analytics. With your consent, we use Google Analytics to understand usage in aggregate. It is not loaded until you accept cookies, and rejecting keeps it off. Google may set analytics cookies (such as _ga).
• Advertising. The game is free and funded by ads, served by Adsterra, whose partners may set advertising cookies. What happens before you choose depends on where you are: in the EU and EEA, the UK, and anywhere we cannot place you, nothing is requested until you accept; everywhere else ads run under a notice that says so and one click turns them off. A Global Privacy Control signal keeps them off wherever you are. On the game page the ads sit below the game and never over it, and the legal, accessibility and security pages carry no advertising at all.

Third parties

The site is hosted on Vercel, which processes standard server logs. With your consent, we use Google Analytics to measure usage; it is never loaded until you accept, in any region. Adsterra shows the advertising, under the regional defaults described above. The map on the feedback page is served by OpenStreetMap and is not requested until you choose to show it.

Children

This site is a general-audience game site and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will delete anything we hold.

Your choices

You can reject non-essential cookies via the banner or the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer, and clear stored game data from the game page or the Cookies page.

Your rights

You can ask us to confirm what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy of it; correct it if it is wrong; delete it; restrict or object to how it is used, including profiling for advertising; and receive it in a portable, machine-readable form. Your saved game is held only in your own browser, so you can already inspect and erase it yourself from the Cookies page without asking us. We hold no copy of it and cannot restore one.

Where we rely on your consent (analytics and advertising) you can withdraw it at any time from Cookie preferences, and withdrawing does not affect anything that happened before. Exercising any of these rights is free, and we will not degrade the game or treat you differently for it. We answer requests within 30 days. These rights come from PIPEDA in Canada and, where they apply to you, from Articles 15 to 21 of the GDPR and the UK GDPR.

Where information is processed

Novus Striker is operated from Canada and hosted on Vercel. The analytics and advertising providers described above operate globally and process what they receive on servers outside Canada, including in the United States. The game itself runs entirely in your browser, and your save never leaves your device, so it crosses no border.
