What runs before you choose

Analytics is off everywhere until you turn it on, in every region. Advertising depends on where you are, and the notice on your first visit tells you which applies: in the EU and EEA, the UK, and anywhere we cannot place you, ads are off until you accept them; everywhere else they are on by default and one click turns them off. A Global Privacy Control signal from your browser keeps both off wherever you are, even if an earlier choice allowed them. The only thing we store without asking is your cookie choice itself, so we can remember it.

We place you from your browser’s timezone, which it already knows. There is no IP lookup and no third-party location service: asking someone else where you are would be the exact kind of request this page exists to account for.

What we store

• Consent choice (nss-consent): remembers whether you accepted or rejected non-essential cookies.
• Game cache: the game’s build files (~87 MB) are cached in your browser so it loads faster on repeat visits.
• Analytics (Google Analytics): loads only after you accept. It sets Google Analytics cookies (such as _ga) to measure usage in aggregate. Reject and none of it loads.
• Advertising (Adsterra): off until you accept it in the EU and EEA, the UK, and anywhere we cannot place you; on by default elsewhere, where the notice says so and one click turns it off. On the game page the ads sit below the game, never over the pitch, and the legal, accessibility and security pages carry none at all. Adsterra and its partners may set advertising cookies. Turn it off and none of it loads.
